The 66~110KV Prefabricated Dry Outdoor Cable Termination is designed for outdoor ends of high - voltage lines. With dry - type insulation, they can effectively prevent moisture, are flame - retardant and environmentally - friendly.
The prefabricated process ensures accurate dimensions and easy installation. They are suitable for various cables, can withstand harsh outdoor conditions, guarantee stable power transmission, and are easy to maintain, playing a critical role in high - voltage distribution of power systems.
Working Principle
1. Electric Field Control: Relies on the internal fully prefabricated stress cone. Through optimized parameter design, it smoothens the electric field distribution at the cut-off point of the cable insulation screen (point of highest field distortion), reducing it to a safe level.
2. Interface Pressure: Utilizes precise interference fit design. During installation, the elasticity of the rubber generates a constant, sufficient radial pressure between the cable insulation surface and the inner surface of the prefabricated rubber insulator. This interface pressure ensures the electrical strength of the interface, eliminating microscopic air gaps that could initiate discharge.
3. External Insulation Protection: The shed structure provides the necessary creepage distance. The hydrophobicity of the silicone rubber material maintains high surface resistance even in damp, polluted environments, preventing flashover.
