Prevent the retraction of cable insulation:

Aiming at the problems of smooth conductors and large insulation retraction of profile conductor cables, the length of the high-voltage inner shielding tube at the intermediate joint is optimized and extended by approximately 30% compared to traditional cable accessories. This can effectively prevent accidents where the high-voltage conductor falls out of the shielding range of the inner shielding tube due to insulation retraction of the cable.

 

Reliable electric field shielding:

The outer shield of the intermediate joint is 2.5mm semi-conductive shield layer with high temperature and high pressure integrated injection molding, solid bonding and reliable electric field shielding. Avoid the breakdown failure that occurs when the traditional spray semi-conductive layer falls off or expands, resulting in unreliable shielding.

01.What does cable accessory include?

02.What's the difference between heat shrink tubing and cold shrink tubing?

Heat shrink tubing is usually made of thermoplastic polyolefin. After heating, it shrinks to its original size and is wrapped around cables or joints. It is commonly used for cable joints, insulation and protection. Installation requires the use of a hot air gun or other heating tools.

Cold shrink tubing is usually made of elastic polymers. Used at room temperature, the sleeve itself is pre-stretched and loosened during installation to return to its original shape. It is mostly used for the sealing protection of cable terminals and joints. No heating is required. Just put it on directly. The installation is more convenient.

03.What are the differences in shrinkage ratio and weather resistance among heat shrink tubing made of different materials?

Shrinkage ratio: For polyolefin and PVC, it is usually 2:1 or 3:1, and for fluoroplastics and silicone, it is also 2:1. • Weather resistance: Fluoroplastics have the best weather resistance, while polyolefins and silicone also perform well. PVC has relatively poor weather resistance. When making a choice, a judgment should be made based on the specific usage environment and requirements.
