- Product Introduction
Designed for 0.4kV industrial power grids, the JNX Series is a fully integrated power quality solution. It combines a CPU control module, zero-crossing composite switch, protection unit, detuning series reactor, and self-healing power capacitor into a single, independent unit.
Unlike standard capacitors, our intelligent compensator uses a detuning reactor to shift the system's resonance frequency, effectively suppressing harmonic currents (such as 3rd, 5th, and 7th harmonics) while dynamically correcting the power factor. This prevents capacitor overload, reduces overheating, and ensures stable grid operation in environments with high harmonic distortion.
Product Feature
Advanced Harmonic Suppression
- Detuning Reactor Protection: Equipped with high-quality dry series reactors (7% or 14% detuning) to shift system resonance and effectively suppress harmonic currents.
- Capacitor Safety: Prevents harmonic overload and overheating, significantly extending the lifespan of the self-healing power capacitors.
Smart Switching & Control
- Zero-Crossing Switching: Advanced composite switches trigger at the exact zero-voltage point, completely eliminating inrush current surges and protecting the grid.
- Target Power Factor: Intelligent switching logic dynamically adjusts reactive power to maintain a power factor above 0.95, avoiding utility penalties.
Flexible System Architecture
- Hybrid Compensation Support: Seamlessly handles both three-phase common compensation and split-phase compensation, making it ideal for unbalanced industrial loads.
- Modular & Expandable Design: Plug-and-play architecture allows for easy capacity upgrades and hassle-free maintenance.
Comprehensive Grid Protection
- Intelligent Networking: Built-in communication interfaces allow multiple units to work together, enabling centralized monitoring and control.
- Multi-Level Safety System: Automatically detects and protects against power system anomalies, including overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, and excessive temperature.

Note:
Products with an reactance rate of 7% are mainly used in situations with a high content of 5th and higher harmonics.
Products with an reactance rate of 14% are mainly used in situations with a high content of 3rd and higher harmonics.

FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between this compensator and a standard capacitor bank?
A: Standard capacitors can easily overheat and fail in environments with harmonics. Our JNX Series includes a detuning series reactor that shifts the resonance frequency, protecting the capacitor and suppressing harmonic currents.
Q2: Does this device actively cancel harmonics?
A: No. This is a passive harmonic suppression device. It uses a detuning reactor to absorb and limit harmonic currents, preventing them from damaging the capacitor. For active cancellation, you would need an Active Power Filter (APF).
Q3: What does "Zero-Crossing Switching" mean?
A: Zero-crossing switching ensures the capacitor is only connected to the grid when the voltage waveform crosses zero volts. This completely eliminates inrush current surges, protecting the system from electrical stress.
