Using conditions

 

● The altitude does not exceed 1000m, the ambient temperature is -40 ~ +45°C(Class B rating).

● There is no violent mechanical vibration, no harmful gas and steam, no conductivity or explosive dust in the installation site.

● Capacitors should be guaranteed to operate in good ventilation conditions,not allowed in closed and unventilated conditions.

● Capacitor wiring should be flexible wire, and the whole circuit should be in good contact.

The main difference between BFM, BAM, and FFM capacitors is the medium type and application scenario. ‌
High voltage capacitors generally have BAM,BFM,BWF,BFF series, we are generally common is BAM series.
The first letter is the series code, B stands for shunt capacitor.
The second letter is the code for the liquid medium in the high voltage capacitor, F stands for diarylethane and A stands for benzyl toluene.

High voltage capacitors using benzyl toluene will be suitable for cold areas.
The third letter M is the code for the solid medium, representing the full film medium.

Product structure:

 

● The capacitor consists of a tank and a core. The tank is made of thin steel plates sealed by welding and is equipped with bushings (porcelain insulators) for electrical connections.Lifting lugs are welded on both sides of the tank for installation, with one lug fitted with an earthing bolt for grounding.

● The capacitor core is formed by stacking multiple elements and insulating layers.
Element Construction: Each element is made by rolling two aluminum foils (electrodes) with a dielectric material (film-paper composite or all-film dielectric) in between, then flattening the assembly.
The elements are connected in series or parallel to meet different voltage and capacitance requirements.
