Reactive Dynamic Non-Contact Regulator

Jinneng electric Reactive Dynamic Non-Contact Regulator (also known as an electronic non-contact switch or thyristor-switched capacitor (TSC) is a semiconductor-based device used for switching capacitors in reactive power compensation systems.

Compared to traditional electrical mechanical contactors, it offers advantages such as arc-free operation, fast response, and long service life, making it suitable for dynamic reactive power compensation applications requiring frequent switching.

 

 

 

 

The Reactive Dynamic Non-Contact Regulator primarily consists of the following parts:

● Power Semiconductor Devices: Typically anti-parallel thyristors (SCRs) or triacs (TRIACs) are used to achieve bidirectional conduction in AC circuits.

● Trigger Control Circuit: Detects the zero-crossing point of the grid voltage and triggers the thyristor conduction at the optimal moment.

● Heat Dissipation System: Due to power losses during thyristor conduction, aluminum heat sinks or forced-air cooling systems are usually equipped.

● Protection Circuitry:

Overvoltage protection (MOV varistors or RC snubber circuits)

Overcurrent protection (fast-acting fuses or electronic current limiting)
