- Product Introduction
Photovoltaic Grid Connected Cabinet, also known as a PV Grid-Connected Distribution Box or AC Distribution Cabinet, is the critical interface equipment connecting a photovoltaic power generation system to the public 400V grid. It is installed between the AC output side of the PV inverter and the power grid,ensures the safe, reliable, and standards-compliant grid-connected operation of the power station.
Simply put, its core task is: to safely feed the electricity generated by the PV system into the grid while protecting equipment and personnel.
Working Principle
PV Modules (DC) → Inverter (converts to AC) → PV Grid-Connected Cabinet→ Public Grid / User Load

Executes Protection, Metering, Connection/Disconnection

1. The inverter converts DC power into AC power that matches the grid's voltage, frequency, and phase.
2. Electricity enters the grid-connected cabinet, first passing through the incoming circuit breaker.
3. The energy meter begins recording generation, and the protection relay continuously monitors grid parameters.
4. If all conditions are normal (voltage and frequency within range, no islanding detected), the grid-connected circuit breaker remains closed, feeding electricity into the grid through the isolating switch.
5. If the protection relay detects any abnormality (grid power loss, voltage anomaly), it immediately (within milliseconds) sends a stop command to the inverter and trips the grid-connected circuit breaker, achieving safe isolation.
