Instalation steps
① Cable Preparation
Strip the cable jacket, semiconductor layer, and insulation to the required dimensions.
Clean the exposed conductor and insulation.
② Stress Control Application
Slide a stress control tube or layer over the prepared cable section.
③ Heat-Shrink Tube Installation
Position the heat-shrink tube over the termination area.
Apply heat evenly (using a propane torch or heat gun) until the tube tightly conforms to the cable.
④ Sealing & Insulation
Ensure mastic or adhesive flows out for a proper seal.
Add additional layers if required (e.g., insulating sleeves).
⑤ Final Inspection
Check for uniform shrinkage, no voids, and proper adhesion.
