Our Electric's YBW-35kV is a fully prefabricated, integrated power distribution solution that seamlessly combines high-voltage switchgear, distribution transformers, and low-voltage switchgear into a single robust unit. Encased in a highly durable, dust-tight, moisture-proof, and corrosion-resistant metal enclosure, this European-style box substation is engineered for ultimate reliability in harsh outdoor environments.

Modular Internal Configuration
 

The YBW-35kV substation features a highly flexible, modular design divided into three independent compartments to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency:

High-Voltage Unit

  • Location: Installed at one end of the enclosure.
  • Configuration: Equipped with SF₆ gas-insulated Ring Main Units (RMU) or vacuum circuit breaker cabinets, complete with busbars, cables, and advanced protection/control devices.
  • Key Features: Compact footprint, maintenance-free operation, and superior operational safety.

Transformer Unit

  • Location: Centrally located for optimal thermal management and isolation.
  • Configuration: Includes the distribution transformer, cooling system, and comprehensive earthing & safety devices.
  • Optional Transformer Types:
    • Dry-Type Transformer: The most widely adopted solution, utilizing air cooling and offering outstanding fire resistance.
    • SF₆ Gas-Insulated Transformer: Fully sealed construction for enhanced environmental friendliness and safety, ideal for harsh and extreme environments.
    • Amorphous Alloy Transformer: Features ultra-low no-load loss, providing a high-efficiency, energy-saving solution.

Low-Voltage Unit

  • Location: Installed at the opposite end of the enclosure.
  • Configuration: A fully integrated LV power distribution system.
  • Included Equipment: Incoming/outgoing feeder panels, MCCBs, MCBs, contactors, reactive power compensation capacitor banks, energy meters, CTs, and auxiliary power supply units.
