It will contract automatically upon core removal at room temperature-no open flame or tools required, enabling convenient and efficient installation. Compatible with 3-core/4-core/5-core cables (25~400mm² cross-sectional area), which are widely used in buildings, industry, municipal engineering, mines, chemical industry and other scenarios demanding high safety and sealing performance. Featuring 360° waterproofing, -40℃~+90℃ temperature resistance and anti-aging properties, they eliminate leakage risks, offer over 20 years of maintenance-free service, provide safe and long-lasting protection, ensure stable operation of power distribution systems.

Installation Instructions

 

 

1. Core Installation Principle​

Cable accessories are the weak link in the cable system. Installation quality directly determines the safe and stable operation of the cable line. All operations must strictly comply with specifications, and illegal construction is prohibited.​

 

2. Professional Personnel Requirements​

Only professionally trained and qualified personnel are allowed to perform installation work. Unauthorized or untrained personnel are strictly prohibited from operating.​

 

3. Compliance with User Instructions​

Before installation, carefully read the product user manual to clarify operating steps, precautions and tool requirements. Construct strictly in accordance with the specified process and shall not arbitrarily simplify steps.​

 

4. Power Cut Safety Precondition​

Before starting installation, must cut off the power supply of all associated equipment and relevant cables. Only after confirming no residual voltage can the operation be carried out.​

 

5. Cable Pre-inspection​

Check that the cable's insulation layer and conductor are free of damage and deformation, and the outer sheath is intact; use a 500V megohmmeter to test the insulation resistance (≥10MΩ) to confirm the cable is free of moisture and water ingress; strictly prohibit the use of damp or damaged cables.​

 

6. Cable Preprocessing​

Strip the cable's outer sheath, insulation layer and semi-conductive layer as required by the manual, ensuring accurate stripping length and smooth cuts without burrs; properly handle the metal shielding layer and grounding conductor to avoid damaging the cable insulation.​

 

7. Specification and Component Verification​

Confirm that the model and specifications of the accessories are fully compatible with the cable; check that the product packaging is intact and all accessories are complete and undamaged.​

 

8. Environmental and Weather Requirements​

Do not install in rainy, foggy or windy weather; when the ambient temperature is below 5℃, appropriate heating and thermal insulation measures must be taken to ensure the construction environment meets requirements.​

 

9. On-site Sanitation Specifications​

Keep hands, construction tools and raw materials clean and dry throughout the installation process; smoking and other irrelevant behaviors are strictly prohibited at the construction site to avoid contamination or damage to components.​

 

10. Post-installation Fitting and Fixing​

After installation, check that the cold-shrink sleeve has fully contracted and fits tightly with the cable without wrinkles, bubbles or looseness; install fixing clips and grounding devices as required to ensure reliable sealing and good grounding continuity.​

 

11. Post-installation Inspection​

Conduct an insulation resistance test with a 500V megohmmeter to confirm qualified insulation performance; only after observing no abnormal heating or leakage for 15 minutes can power supply be restored.​

 

12. Explanation of Normal Phenomenon​

A small amount of red colloid overflowing from the bottom of the cold-shrink sleeve after heating is a normal physical phenomenon and does not affect product performance or use.
